Our class went to see the play called To Kill A Mockingbird yesterday at the IRT. The play actually had a lot of differences in the book such as a female character in the book was a male character in the play, one of the kids had black hair instead of blonde, stuff was taken out of the play that were in the book but other stuff was added, and other stuff. Overall though the play was very well done and the actors were fa nominal, they played each part exactly how I would imagine it and did a wonderful job with answering the questions about the play afterwords. This is a play I would highly recomend for anyone who is a fan of the book and any other plays done by the IRT would also be recomended.

Man, that money that Mama is getting from Dads insurance could make all of our dreams come true, if only they would listen to me. If only Mama would trust me with that money, I could go into business with Bobo and start earning us our dream through that liquor store. But man, Ruth a Beneatha just keep jabbering about this and that, what do they know? What could they know about business? Ruth works nothing compared to me a Beneatha is just flat out spoiled, if only Moma could see that instead of the crap that those two are filling in her head.
Well, it looks like I'm just going to have to do just that. I will talk to Mama about it once Buth and Beneatha are gone, and tell her that she has to use it towards to liquor store for our dreams! It isn't my dreams I'm talking about like they say, it's all of our dreams! To be equals to the whites, maybe even better! That's what I want for us, what we want for us, all we have to do is buy the liquor store...

The Soccer Has Ended For Me For A Time
Soccer season has been over for us for a few weeks now. It was a decent season for our team with some wins and some loses. It was good experience for the newer players that had came in for the first time though, they were able to learn about what to expect next year and hopefully will be ready then. When we had won the few matches, it was exhilarating, but when we had loses, the team just seemed to give up, making us lose the next match sometimes. Sectional was tough on the team this year, we lost the first match 2-5 and this dropped some hopes for next years season but hopefully that will change when the time comes.

Play Time!
I went to a play called Macbeth this weekend. It is a play written by William Shakespeare about a man who betrays his kingdom because of a fortune that 3 witches told him and lives with the guilt until it comes back and turns all the goodness that happened because of what he did to bad. It was a really good play, the actors in it did a real good job and made the tale seem realistic. I wish them luck in the next play they may be doing and am hoping to be able to go back and see them again sometime.
