Yup, school is about at an end, which means conditioning will be picking up the pace. The season so far has been going kind of slow, not really running, sprinting, doing drills, or anything like last year but I have a feeling that coach will be laying down the work on us once summer comes into play. We have only been practicing two days a week so far and mainly scrimmaging which is fun and all, but it gets repetive when you keep going against the same people over and over. Aw well though, I guess I will jsut have to wait and see.

Conditioning Has Begun
Yup, it's that time of the year again, soccer conditioning has started for our team. We have been practicing in the school gym so far because of the weather, running stair laps, sprints, drills, and scrimmages but once good weather hits, we will be out on the field. This will be my 11th year of soccer, and my last year of high school soccer. Hopefully, I will be able to make the cut at one of the colleges I am interested in and be able to play at least as a 1st sub or maybe a starter, only time will tell.

PLAY TIME!
Our class went to see the play called To Kill A Mockingbird yesterday at the IRT. The play actually had a lot of differences in the book such as a female character in the book was a male character in the play, one of the kids had black hair instead of blonde, stuff was taken out of the play that were in the book but other stuff was added, and other stuff. Overall though the play was very well done and the actors were fa nominal, they played each part exactly how I would imagine it and did a wonderful job with answering the questions about the play afterwords. This is a play I would highly recomend for anyone who is a fan of the book and any other plays done by the IRT would also be recomended.

Man, that money that Mama is getting from Dads insurance could make all of our dreams come true, if only they would listen to me. If only Mama would trust me with that money, I could go into business with Bobo and start earning us our dream through that liquor store. But man, Ruth a Beneatha just keep jabbering about this and that, what do they know? What could they know about business? Ruth works nothing compared to me a Beneatha is just flat out spoiled, if only Moma could see that instead of the crap that those two are filling in her head.
Well, it looks like I'm just going to have to do just that. I will talk to Mama about it once Buth and Beneatha are gone, and tell her that she has to use it towards to liquor store for our dreams! It isn't my dreams I'm talking about like they say, it's all of our dreams! To be equals to the whites, maybe even better! That's what I want for us, what we want for us, all we have to do is buy the liquor store...
